The IBM Power System LC922 (9006-22P) is designed to deliver superior performance and meet the open-source workload data requirements being driven by the AI era. It is the server of choice for clients that want compute capabilities enabled by POWER9, scaling efficiency with the POWER9 advanced I/O, and ample storage capacity to contain the AI data volumes.

The Power System LC922 server is a two-processor socket system, offering 16-core (2.91 GHz) to 44-core (2.6 GHz) configurations with up to 1Tb of system memory in a 19-inch rack-mount, 2U drawer configuration. The LC922 server offers I/O configuration flexibility and is designed to deliver superior performance and throughput for high-value Linux workloads and business-critical applications.

Supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.5 little-endian (LE), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 for Power, and Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS, the server that offers configuration flexibility to meet these challenges being observed with the AI workloads.
