Covenco at VeeamON 2022

Covenco’s Sales Director, Gurdip Sohal has been reflecting on a great week that was had at VeeamON in Las Vegas. It’s taken a few days to get over the jet lag and catch up with the day-to-day bits, but it seems it was totally worth it, and here is what he has to say about it …

“Starting with the VeeamON Registration Day, and finally being able to get out and attend a live event after two years of lockdown, felt great!

To begin with we were treated to the opening session from Anand Eswaran, Veeam’s new CEO and what an impression he made. Full of vigour and drive providing us all with an update of Veeam’s standing amongst the elite, as the joint #1 provider of #DataProtection solutions in the world. He also set the standard for what will come next… to be the undisputed #1 provider by the time VeeamON 2023 comes around.

There were many great sessions throughout the week, including those on Ransomware Protection, the upcoming V12, Backup for M365 V7, Backup for Salesforce, and the drive to protect the workloads of the future with the upcoming Kasten V12.

Danny Allan and his team of demo experts Anthony Spiteri, Michael Cade, Rick Vanover, and Mike Resseler were as engaging as ever showcasing what is expected in V12.

Finally, to end what was a great week was the spectacular Veeam Party at Drai’s Night Club with rappers Coolio & Nelly performing their classics … Veeemazing!
