Frequently Asked Questions
Workplace recovery is a subscription-based service that provides a location which your employees can work from in the event of a disaster that has made your current office unusable, ensuring that your organisation remains fully operational. Although not all workplace recovery services are the same, they tend to facilitate all the office needs that your workforce requires, such as meeting rooms, kitchens, and fully equipped workstations.
The workplace recovery service works like insurance – you hope that you never have to use it, but in the worst case of disaster striking, it’s definitely something that you will need and be very glad that you have. The subscription also includes test days, so you can be assured that the process will go ahead as planned if you ever needed to execute it in the case of an emergency.
Each location will vary slightly, but all include the following facilities: Fully equipped workplace positions, meeting rooms, general office facilities and break/refreshment areas, direct dial telephone lines and voicemail facilities, and office equipment including fax, copier, and a scanner.
Yes, the sites are fully alarmed and equipped with CCTV. Some sites will have onsite security guards for out-of-hours. The workplace and datacentres are also ISO 20771 accredited.
