IBM FlashSystems FS7200

The FlashSystem FS7200 systems are virtualized, NVMe-based, all-flash, software-defined storage solutions designed to unlock the power of your data by combining the latest IBM Spectrum Virtualize, IBM FlashCore Modules, storage-class memory, and IBM Storage Insights technologies.

The IBM FlashSystem FS7200 (model 4664-824) NVMe Control Enclosure features two node canisters and up to 1536GB cache in a 2U, 19-inch rack mount enclosure.  10 Gb iSCSI connectivity is standard, with options for 32 Gb FC, 16 Gb FC, and 25 Gb iSCSI connectivity. It holds up to twenty-four NVMe FlashCore Modules or industry-standard flash drives and supports the attachment of up to 20 FlashSystem 7000 expansion enclosures.

This model has been superseded by the FS7300, though is still available in the second-user market, subject to availability.
